Good morning, friends, and Happy Monday!! Quick raise of hands. Who all thinks the Monday after Thanksgiving should be considered a day of rest? (We all know both my hands are up!) Between traveling and traffic on Sunday and Cyber Monday today, I think it only seems right… Right? Right.

I do have to say that this Thanksgiving break was the perfect mix of relaxation and working on my business! Each year, my family goes to the beach to celebrate Thanksgiving. Whether that be with friends or just our family, it’s my favorite tradition! It rained most of the time we were there, but there is something so relaxing about waking up and having the beach be the first thing you see or hear when you wake up. (My family is made up of a lot of beach bums, if you haven’t realized this yet!)

After that amazing time with my family, my sister and I drove to Orange, VA for Casey and Dwayne’s wedding!! This wedding was so wonderful. One because Casey was one of the most organized and chill brides I have ever worked with, and two because she is one of my sorority sisters, so naturally her wedding was filled with sisters and I loved every moment!

The past week was incredible, and I am so truly thankful for everything in my life. My fiance, family, friends, brides! I could go on and on, but no words can truly encompass how much I truly appreciate everyone who has been placed in my life.

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• I realized this morning that I need an ice scraper, but you know the only time I remember I need one is when I am sitting in my frozen over car waiting for my defrost to work… Same thing goes with shampoo or body wash in the shower…
• My WEDDING WEBSITE is complete, and it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. I still have a few glitches I need to work out, but go check it out!! mjandcorrin.corrinjasinskiphotography.com 🙂 Also, if you see something that I need to add, feel free to let me know!!
• Speaking of wedding, I ordered my Save the Dates on Black Friday (best deal ever)!! I am meeting with my wedding planner this week, and I think I finally decided on a wedding dress!! Big wedding planning things going on over here!!
• I did WORK on Black Friday! Save the Dates, Client gifts, MJ’s Christmas Present, so many things for my business!! SO awesome!
• Photo Mechanic is the BEST! If you saw my Instagram story, you heard about how much I love this program! I edited an entire wedding yesterday! SAY WHAT!?
• Today starts my crazy 5 week fitness trial! I am SO nervous and anxious because this means I have to push myself to go to the gym every day! Wish me and my body luck!
• A HUGE SHOUT OUT to my mom and my sister, Kellie! They were both huge helps the past few days, and I am so incredibly thankful for them and their love and willingness to help!

So many things to talk about today, but I’ll wrap it up! I cannot wait to finally share Katie and Mike’s Big Spring Farm engagement this week, and I get to share Casey and Dwayne’s wedding too!! (You get to see Katie twice because she was the maid of honor in Casey’s wedding, so lucky you!!)
