Hey there, friends! Can you believe December has almost come and gone? This 70 degree weather doesn’t even make it feel like it’s December… It’s more like September, but with no leaves. I’m convinced though that January and February are going to bring crazy snow storms, but don’t quote me on that. (SNOW DAYS are the best days!) Back to December and Christmas though, Christmas was amazing! I miss it already, and I am not ready to put down any of the decorations yet. One of my favorite traditions that has been happening the past few years is starting Christmas around 1 PM haha. My mom is kind of a procrastinator (like mother like daughter), and she is one of those people that is still shopping on Christmas Eve right before we have to leave for our Christmas Eve service. Which means that she wraps presents all night, and this year I decided to kind of help her! (Side note, I’m a strong believer in the bag and tissue paper wrapping.) When she said I had to use scissors, tape, and wrapping paper, I knew it was going to be a long night, well morning. I was up until 3 AM and my mother was up until 7:30 AM, hence the new tradition of starting Christmas at 1 PM.

Christmas was filled with amazing food, great presents, and an even better time with my family! Oh, and I got my two maids of honor on Christmas! My sisters said yes to my proposal, and I am so thankful and excited. My wedding day (yes, it has turned into “my” wedding now, haha, sorry MJ! Recently engaged chicas, you’ll understand this soon enough.) is starting to piece together!! (Insert heart eyes.)

Today, though, is my momma’s birthday, and, man, I could go on and on about how much she means to me. My mom is my bestest friend and hero in every shape and form. I absolutely adore her, and I am so lucky to call her mine. Today is all about her, so I’m going to wrap this up and spend my last day home with her and my sisters!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!

• First off, I want to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all my newly engaged beauties out there! I am giving you all one huge virtual hug right now! I am so happy for you! Merry Christmas to you all; show off that BLING!
• Anybody else keeping up their Christmas decorations for a week or two longer!? I certainly know we are haha!
• The past week I have been working so hard on revamping my website! My style, my business, and everything has changed so much this past year, so I figured my online presence could use some sprucing up as well! Go check it out (it would make me super happy), www.corrinjasinskiphotography.com!
• I’ve also been working really hard on some special projects for my 2016 brides! You are only engaged once, so I want to ensure my brides have the best engagement and wedding in every possible way!
• GUYS. I not only have a venue, but I have a DATE, BRIDESMAIDS, and MY TWO MAIDS OF HONOR! Sorry for the all caps, but I am getting so exciting that everything is starting to fall into place! Oh, and I chose a photographer, she just doesn’t know it yet… 😉
• MJ got maid service for Christmas meaning I got maid service for Christmas! Best gift ever!!
• I really miss that boy (aka the fiancé)! I haven’t seen him in about a week, and I cannot wait to see him tomorrow!! I do not know how we did long distance for over a year and a half!

This is the first Mash Up Monday that I could go on and on about the events and lessons I’ve learned, but I won’t! I hope you all have an amazing and safe New Year’s, and my next Mash Up Monday post will have a 2016 attached at the end!!
