It’s Monday, and I will admit that I spent over half the day in bed yesterday! I have been sick all week with a terrible soar throat/cold, so I haven’t slept very well and the bed was just so warm and comfy, so I stayed, fell asleep, checked Instagram, fell asleep… But then I got hungry (constant struggle of my life), so I made my way downstairs and stayed on the couch the second half of the day haha! Guys, I live SUCH an exciting life! But really it was one of the those perfect, do nothing Sunday’s, and I actually started planning our wedding this weekend! I’m excited to say that I have a VENUE, not a date yet, but I have a place where I will be saying I DO! EEK, and I’m not sharing it just yet!

After planning and emailing vendors yesterday, I’m really excited to announce a new series I’m going to start after the new year for brides to be. I’ve always known that planning a wedding takes a lot of time and patience, but I didn’t realize how confusing it truly can be and I want to be able to help other brides to be with tips and tricks that I am learning along the way!! So in the new year, get ready for two new series: one for brides to be and photographers looking for free learning!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!

• MJ and I celebrated 2 years this past week! We had dinner with his Gammy and watches Christmas movies; my kind of night!!
• I made Zuppa Toscana on Monday, and it was pretty delicious! I would even dare to compare it to Olive Garden’s, but it did miss OG’s famous bread sticks!
• Can I also say that Kraft Mac and Cheese is the best? I haven’t had it in so long, but this past week we decided to whip some up and man was it perfect… I am such a foodie!!
• I had two different Christmas parties/White Elephants this week, and I have to say my White Elephant gifts were pretty funny. One night I gave my Paint Night painting as a gift because it was not going to be hung up in our home. Ever. The second night I found an Elsa hat that had a blonde braid attached to it. PERFECT!
• One of my very good friends gave me a scarf with antique cameras all over it… New favorite scarf, I think so!! She knows me so well!
• My sister’s and I have been decorating cookies at my neighbor’s house ever since we moved to Virginia, and 15 years later we still decorate cookies with them! Tomorrow you can check out our amazing cookie designs on my Instagram!!
