It’s gloomy and rainy and dark, and I strongly believe that on days like this I should still be in bed. Now, let’s add on the fact that’s it’s a Monday, and that gives me even more reason to stay in the comfort of my own bed and lay around in my pajamas until Tuesday… Well, back to reality, I am up with coffee in hand, ready to make my to-do list, my grocery list, and any other list I can think of! I’ve been a little overwhelmed with all the thoughts in my head lately, so I am going to jot them all down, one by one, and figure out the solutions to those thoughts!!

This weekend, like the past few weekends, I have done nothing and a little more of nothing! It’s weird. My friends actually see me, I’m all caught up on every show, I’m reading (you know there is nothing to do when that happens)! The best part of this weekend:  hanging out with MJ! On Saturday, we went to the Alamo (my favorite place ever) to go see Hidden Figures (thank you, Jana!), and once the movie was over, MJ was like, “Wanna see Split?” It was random, and we had nothing else to do, so we saw another movie! Like, what? That never happens!

I will admit though, I’m really going through wedding withdrawal… I haven’t touched my camera in weeks…

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• I have been meeting a lot more creatives lately, and I am loving it!! Having friends in this industry is SO nice, and if you are a creative reading this, put yourself out there and meet new people in your industry!! It really does help being able to talk to friends that truly understand what you do on a day to day basis!
• Facebook is not a fun place to be. All week/weekend, I have tried to stay away from Facebook. There is SO much negativity, and, yeah, I just rather stay away.
• I have known this, but I am terrible at trivia. I really wish I was one of those people that retained random facts!!
• My wedding day is coming WAY too fast! My stomach literally drops every time I think about it!! So much to do, oh and I am already so nervous haha!

So I didn’t learn a lot this week… I could update you on Gilmore Girls, but I’ll leave that for next time haha! I hope you all have an amazing Monday, and stay tuned for a wedding a second shot with Audrey and some photographer tips!!
