Good morning, friend! I’m just going to start of this Mash Up Monday by saying that Justin Timberlake’s new song is awesome. Period. It’s one of those songs that turns on and in that moment everything is okay and good and happy! Definitely a good monday morning song! (It’s currently on repeat as I type up this post.) Go take a listen!

I woke up this morning with some dark circles under my eyes (which are still half way closed) and a sore body. My body is telling me, “Hey, go back to bed, and stay there. Forever.” And believe me, my mind is definitely saying the same thing on this Monday morning, but like the saying goes, “There’s time to sleep when you are dead.”

This weekend I had my first wedding of 2016 at the beautiful Sundara wedding venue and then an engagement session in Washington, DC! I can confidently say that if I had a FitBit my step count would be off the charts! (Walking from the Jefferson Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial and back is no joke.) We did happen to see 85% of the memorials though!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• As we all know, I am a foodie, so naturally I have another food discovery for this week… Cava. It’s amazing! It’s like Chipotle, but healthier! I LOVE it.
• Second shooting with Audrey Rose Photography might be the best thing I have done for my business. I am learning so much, and I cannot wait to learn more!
• This past week was Teacher Appreciation for all of those amazing teachers out there, especially my wonderful fiancé! He is an incredible 3rd grade teacher (insert the awww here). Yep, I got one of the good ones. He’s amazing!
• Another shout out to all the mom’s out there! You rock, and know that you are so appreciated and loved!
• Today (and everyday), I challenge you to find the good in every person you interact with. Oh, it is not easy, but if you are good and happy person to others, just maybe you can change another person’s day/life.
