My best marketing tool for my business is, by far, word of mouth. Having others tell their friends and their friends telling their friends about me is how I have gotten all of my brides thus far, and I absolutely love it because that means I already have some type of connection with my brides before we even get to know one another. My most dedicated and loyal promoter is most definitely my fiance (well it’s a tie between my fiance and my sister, Kellie), but MJ is the sole reason for why Lauren and Matt are one of my 2017 couples.

There was a garage sale one morning and we decided to check it out before I left for a wedding, and at this garage sale I saw a Stella and Dot table. I immediately went to see what she was selling because Stella and Dot has stunning stuff! As soon as we went over, MJ immediately noticed that she had an engagement ring on… So if you have seen How I Met Your Mother, you will understand this reference. You know how Ted and Barney go to the bar a lot, and you know how Barney goes up to a single lady and says, “Have you met Ted?” Well this is pretty much what MJ does, so now imagine I am Ted and MJ is Barney. He casually asks if they are engaged, asks if they have a wedding photographer, he then says he knows the best wedding photographer around, gives them a business card, and BAM. He mainly does this when I am not around, but this time, he did not do that, and the, “Have you met Ted?” turned into, “Have you met Corrin?”

I was SO embarrassed, but look at us now! She is one of my 2017 brides, and her engagement session has turned into one of my all time favorites! (Anybody recognize that red dress she is wearing!? I love how that dress has become such a staple item in my life; some people literally know me as the girl in the red dress. Now, Lauren will be the girl in the red dress, and boy did she rock it!!)

Matt and Lauren are such a perfect pair. Matt is so sweet and funny and knows exactly what to say to make Lauren laugh at any given notice! Lauren is so unbelievably stunning, sweet, and kind, and when you put the two of them together and you get this amazing couple that I am SO lucky to photograph and become friends with! These two have known each other for over five years, and now they are tying the knot at the stunning Breaux Vineyards in Purceville, VA!  Their wedding day is going to be perfect in every way and Lauren is going to make the most stunning bride!
