Happy Monday, friends! I know it’s almost 1 PM, but today I might just have the best excuse ever for being late on a blog post…

Drum Roll Please!

MJ and I have a PUPPY!! I’m going to introduce her to the blog family next week, but, for now, her name is Lily and she is the cutest pup in the whole wide world! Having a puppy is like having a child though… SO I’ve had to step away quite a lot. (She’s napping right now, so I’m trying to type fast!) This past weekend was filled with a lot of traveling, pictures, and migraines (bleh)!

On Friday, we spent our last day at Stone Harbor, drove home, and then saw our favorite DJ, DJ Squirrel! Saturday, I got to photograph the most relaxed and laid back wedding, I think I have ever photographed! It was such a beautiful day, and Britney and Ian are FINALLY married! Sunday was a driving and PUPPY day!

As always, here are the lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week:

• Migraines are no joke! I’ve never had one before this weekend, and, man, they suck. I also had to drive with it… BLEH!
• Food from New Jersey is better than food in Virginia. It just is.
• I’ve read almost two books in about 3 weeks. If you don’t know this about me, I don’t really read, so this is HUGE!
• Never leave your home a mess before going away for a long time. It’s not fun coming home to a messy place!
• Field hockey season is near and I cannot wait! It’s a busy season, but it’s the best!

Of course, I know there is more stuff that I learned, but I am on puppy duty and all I can think about is her. Sorry (not really sorry haha)! I hope you all have an amazing day! Here are some sneak peeks for what’s to come this week on the blog!
