Hey there, friends! So today’s Mash Up Monday is going to be rather real and blunt, so here goes nothing…

I have lost my blogging mojo. My Newsletter Crew has been left dry with no new content. I am on this emotional roller coaster called wedding planning. I still have yet to unpack from my bachelorette weekend, and since I’m being super honest, I haven’t fully recovered emotionally from my bachelorette weekend (more on that later). And OH the mountain that I am calling Mount Laundry is growing and growing…

The past two weeks have been crazy, and Miley Cyrus says it best, “it came in like a wrecking ball”. Between wedding season and planning my own wedding, I can’t tell you my lefts from my rights right now. Don’t even get me started on my emotional state, I’m so incredibly happy one moment and then SO sad the next. It hasn’t been the easiest and I haven’t been the most organized, so that isn’t really helping either.

So. Yes. Yes, I do sound like a hot mess, but, overall, I am totally okay and handling it like any person would. So why exactly am I telling you all this then? Well because I try to be as real as possible with you guys. The online world can make my life look so perfect and untarnished and amazing, and yes,  I do think my life is pretty awesome and I truly am happy and SO SO lucky, but I do have my bad days. I have my over thinking, I just want to cry and eat oreos, watch Netflix, kind of days.

I’m this normal chick with normal problems, and I’m just trying to handle them in the best way possible. Can I get an AMEN!?

You might be wondering, so what did I mean by emotionally recovering from my Bachelorette weekend? That weekend was one of the BEST weekends I had ever had… EVER. I was in the most beautiful place with my best best friends… It really doesn’t get much better then that. When I got back home, yes, I was overjoyed to see MJ, but it all hit me… That kind of weekend happens once in a lifetime; I’m getting married SO soon; This time of my life only happens once, and it’s almost over… All the thoughts mixed with ALL the feels.

I was so reluctant to post this because this is so personal, but I hope that this might let other brides to be know that if these thoughts and feelings ever happen for you, it’s okay. I know how it feels, and you are NOT alone! You are not crazy or we’re crazy together. Either one!

So, if you made it this far into the post, here are the lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week:

• I had my first Bridal Fitting on Saturday, and GUESS WHAT!? The dress fits me perfectly! I didn’t know that could actually happen, but I don’t have to get any alterations done! How crazy is that??
• I also had my Bridal Shower yesterday, and, man, I am the luckiest girl on the planet to have so many incredible people in my life. I am so thankful for each and every one of you!
• MJ and I have started watching 13 Reasons Why and that show is deep on so many levels!
• My next big thing on my wedding list is to find a wedding band! Not as easy as I thought it would be! I’m really wanting a rose gold ring, and I’m just not finding anything I like right now!
• And those dang RSVPs… Those are not fun. It’s this huge waiting game…
• Um… This weather?? What in the world? SO hot then rainy and cold!
