HAPPY DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS! (Said no one ever!) I already miss Christmas and am in disbelief that it is already over, and when December 26th falls on a Monday, it truly does not feel like a Monday. (Hence why Mash Up Monday is running later than it’s usual late self.) Luckily the government feels the same way, so my dad and mom are home!

Dad is in the kitchen talking to our new friend Alexa every minute (trying not to have a heart attack about the Christmas mess in the other room), Mom is still chillin’ in bed like she should be (she works her butt off each year to make an awesome Christmas for us), Kellie is either annoying the dogs right now or cleaning years and years of things that have been left behind in our rooms (HA good luck to her), and Krissy, yeah, she’s still asleep (we won’t be seeing her until she is hungry or has to go to the bathroom)! And for me, after this post I am going to eat my weight in my mom’s amazing coffee cake and banana bread, and then get ready to go horse back riding on the beach with MJ’s family!!

The thing about going home is that you see so many faces that you haven’t seen in a while and naturally they ask you this dreadful question, “How is life?” And for me they not only ask this question, but they also ask, “How is the wedding planning going?” Yep. Two huge questions, but you know how I have answered them lately? I have answered them with the word amazing. Yep, amazing. I am so truly happy with everything in my life. Oh yeah, I got things to work on, but I am happy and my wedding planning couldn’t be better! I’m good 🙂

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• If you read the paragraphs above, Alexa is not real haha. It’s that Echo thing from Amazon, and my father likes it quite a lot!
• I cannot believe I am only a few weeks away from revealing my big project!! EEK!!
• La La Land! We saw that movie yesterday, and I personally like it, but my family all has different opinions! (I’m listening to the soundtrack as I type!)
• MJ and I almost got a puppy, and then we didn’t all in a matter of 5 minutes! (Long story, but one day we will be getting a fur baby!)
• Bitemoji’s are my life right now. If you plan on texting me, I will probably only talk with those!

I’m going to cut it short! I could go on and on about all the fun things that happened over the past week, so I’ll spare ya! Thanks for coming by, and I hope you had the most incredible Christmas! I am so thankful for you!
