I’m going to start off this week’s Mash Up Monday with a shout out to all the teachers out there! Happy First Day of School!! You got this!! Now, only a few hundred days until summer…

Can you believe summer is already over? Don’t get me wrong, I am just as excited for fall like every other “basic” chick out there, but, man, I am going to miss summer! It’s crazy to think next summer I am getting married… MARRIED! What!? (Being engaged, obviously, has not soaked in yet.) Fall is going to be gone before I know it too, between field hockey practices and weekends booked up through December, Christmas is going to be here before I know it, and then my wedding right around the corner!! Yeah, I should really find that dress right about now…

This past weekend I second shot with Audrey Rose Photography and it was such a beautiful wedding!! I cannot wait to share those images with you guys! If I haven’t said it before, I am SO thankful for this opportunity! If you are a new photographer looking for experience, this is the best way to do it! I have learned so much from working with Audrey, and we still have another 5 or 6 weddings to go! I love watching this business of mine grow!! 🙂

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week!

• Fantasy Football has taken over this household… MJ is in 5-6 leagues. (I lost count.) Anyone else not on the Fantasy Football train!?
• Stranger Things… Obsessed!! We have just started watching this series with our neighbor, and I want to binge watch the rest of the episodes right now!!
• One of my BIG NEWS announcements will be told next week!! EEK!! CANNOT WAIT!
• I learned that I am SO much better at field hockey now than I was in college. It’s a love/hate thing right now, but it’s crazy how much your mind affects how you do things. (If that even makes sense!) I put so much pressure on myself in college, and now that I don’t have that I can actually relax and play really well!
• My sock tan line is fierce right now…
