Happy Monday, friends! If you are a weekly Mash Up Mondayer (yes, I just made that up), you know that I have been on vacation a whole bunch this summer and you might dislike me a little bit and this isn’t going to help… I’m at the Outer Banks this week. I am here with MJ’s parents and some of MJ’s best best friends from high school. These 8 boys have known each other for over 10 years and all graduated high school the same year, and this is when this traditional trip began. They went on a trip to St. John together, 4 years later they did another trip to St. John, and now, 4 years later, we are here at the OBX. Lucky me, I’m becoming part of this crew, so I got to tag along with all the other wives!

To give you an idea of what this week is going to be like, we are watching home videos the boys made in high school… They had a string cheese contest (yes, they video taped the throwing up part… boys) and now hot sauce and so much more, and yes these boys are a lot to handle at one time, but, man, I love that MJ has friends like these and I love this tradition. This week is going to be filled with games, beach, and so many inappropriate boy jokes…

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!

• Justin and Mary’s Light Intensive was amazing! Amazing doesn’t even cut it. I feel like a brand new photographer! I cannot wait to tell you all more about it this week on the blog!
• I got a hair cut! I am bringing back the side bangs haha! I’ll make sure to take a picture soon!
• Pirate’s Dice is a terrible game that I am quite horrible at. Being the competitive person that I am, this week is going to be rough haha!
• This heat though. It’s becoming a bit much, and the bugs gots to GO!
• Not too too much to report on, but…

This is my 50th MASH UP MONDAY! I really want to thank all of you that come back and read this weekly blog post. I cannot thank you enough and it truly means the world to me!! I cannot believe I started this series over a year ago (I’ve had a few Mash Up Tuesday’s haha… I do know how many weeks are in year!)! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
