Monday, you have arrived again, and I, again, am not ready for you to be here. Anybody else want to live out Bruno Mar’s Lazy Song today!? I sure know I rather be staying in bed, but I’m ready to conquer the week!

This year my wedding season is much busier because I am not only photographing my bride’s weddings, but I am also second shooting with the amazing Audrey Rose Photography! This past weekend, my wedding season began by second shooting a wedding down in the 757. Oh my goodness, what a beautiful wedding it was. Everything from beautiful light to stunning florals to a couple that couldn’t be more in love and excited for their wedding day!

Even though I woke up sore and exhausted, I also woke up with a full heart and so excited to photograph my first bride’s wedding next weekend! This week is going to be crazy busy with trying to start new projects, coaching field hockey, and talking to florists for my wedding… Free time won’t be much of a thing until the end of May haha! But just 4 more days until Ashley’s wedding!! Wahoo!!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• Once you hit the age of 60, I believe that everyone should retake a driving test. This needs to be a law.
• Traffic. Wow. Traveling from NOVA to VA Beach is impossible. I will forever now leave really early in the morning!
• My sister chose a college!! WAHOO! She will be attending Shenandoah University next year!
• The Jungle Book was definitely a movie you need to see at the theatre! I did jump a few times, and that tiger is pretty scary/mean… But definitely a good movie to go see!
• I went to Chucky Cheese for the FIRST TIME EVER. Like ever. (My mom never took us because she “didn’t like the pizza”.) Yes, the kid inside got so excited, and I actually had a lot of fun. – Side note. No, MJ and I didn’t just randomly go to Chucky Cheese just for the fun of it… He had a fundraiser for his school!

The blog this week will actually have content! Last week was a little silent, but this week I have a new Wedding Wednesday and some Texas portraits! Stay tuned!
