Good Morning, friends, and Happy Pi Day!! (Math Nerd for Life!) This weekend was one of the last weekends of 2016 where I don’t have anything planned, where I don’t have to set an alarm clock, or drive long distances to get where I need to be. It’s bittersweet. I cannot wait to be reunited with my camera and set off on new adventures, but at the same time, I love being able to sleep in and sporadically plan what I am going to do or not do that day. This year is filled with twice as many weddings, second shooting with an amazing photographer, and many trips! I am so thankful and happy; I just can’t believe it is all starting this weekend!!

MJ and I are leaving for Texas on Thursday night, and we won’t be back until next Wednesday! I cannot wait! It’s going to be a mini family vacation for me with family the I haven’t seen since I was in middle school. MJ is definitely a homebody and much rather be in the comfort of his own home for his spring break, but he is being a trooper and joining me. I cannot wait to show you all the photos once we get back!!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week!

• Fine Art Marriage published one of my Anniversary Sessions last Friday!! MY FIRST EVER! Gosh, I still can’t believe it. Check it out HERE!
• This is my last week of Pure Barre! I’m actually pretty sad about it. I’ve been doing so well with going to class, and now once I get back from Texas, I am starting a membership at Gold’s Gym!
• This past week was MJ’s birthday week! We went to Match Box (new favorite restaurant), his grandmother took us out to dinner, and we went to see a movie at the Alamo! It was such an awesome week, and he deserved every moment of it. He is so amazing!!
• I’m going to be 100% honest with you guys, this week was hard too. I have been mentally exhausted, and I have been my own worst enemy. Luckily, MJ cares and loves me way more than I deserve. 🙂
