Good morning, friends, and Happy Monday! It’s a happy SNOWY Monday here, and the snow is still going. MJ and I got back home last night around 1 AM, and I am so glad that we decided to come back last night. I was asleep for the first half of the trip (classic me), and then when I woke up it was foggy and snowy and gross. It was like we traveled into a vortex or something. (Yes, I do think I sound smarter and dorkier using the word vortex in my sentence… if it’s even used correctly.) It was crazy, and I cannot imagine driving in the snow this morning. (Fingers crossed the school system will call for a snow day tomorrow!)
Where did you go this weekend, you ask? We went back home to good ol’ Poquoson, Virginia! Why did we go home, you ask? Wellllllll, I not only had MJ and my mom (yes, she will always be my Valentine) as my Valentine’s, but I had two others as well… The NEWLY ENGAGED and future Mr. and Mrs. Fuselier! You guys, I photographed my first proposal, and I am still over the moon!! (Insert a gazillion heart eyes!) I cannot wait to tell you all the details and show you all the photos from yesterday! I feel like I have known these two for years (I just met them yesterday), and I am so happy for them!! I love LOVE! Molly, you are getting MARRIED! EEK!
As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!
- It’s freezing. Literally. Yesterday’s proposal was done in below freezing temperatures, and it was totally worth it, but it’s about time for it to be warm again.
- Speaking of freezing… I have now realized that technology does not work when it is freezing cold. Yesterday, before my session, my phone died because it was so cold, and my camera also decided to be moody because it was so cold. It’s just not supposed to be this cold.
- And speaking of colds. I have this cold that just won’t go away. It was really bad last week, but it still won’t fully go away! Again, it needs to get warm soon!
- Socks cost a lot. I made MJ a sock bouquet for Valentine’s day, and some socks were like $15… Uh, no. He loses socks. That would be like losing $15. His Valentine’s Day gift was pretty awesome too! A year of dates! Go see more on my Instagram, www.instagram.com/corrinjasinski/!
- Today is what we actually like to call our Valentine’s Day. Two years ago today is the first time MJ told me that he loved me, so this day always holds a really special place in my heart. He is and always will be my first and only love. 🙂 Deee!
- Biscuits. Man, do I love biscuits. MJ’s mom made homemade biscuits this weekend, mmmmmmm! SO good.
Well, as you can see, a lot happened this past week/weekend, but I will end my Mash Up Monday post here. Also, MJ just brought up a plate of bacon for me to eat, so it would be rude of me to let it get cold… And yes, this is one of the many reasons he is the love of my life. I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s Day and are having an even better Monday!
Don’t miss tomorrow’s PROPOSAL blog post!!
xoxo
