It’s the first Monday in 2016 and the first Monday after Christmas break meaning for the working humans of the world, we are back to our desks no longer counting down the days until Christmas, but until the weekend. (5 more days, everyone!)  I already miss spending my days watching One Tree Hill (yes, I have become slightly obsessed), eating mac and cheese on the couch, and napping whenever I want to. My break was half super productive and half not productive at all, and man was it perfect. I like to think that the breaks where you completely forget what day of the week it is is a perfect break indeed! Anybody else there with me?

On Saturday, I photographed a very intimate wedding for my friend and boss, and it was beautiful! I’ve missed photographing weddings so much, and just thinking about all of my 2016 weddings makes me all giddy inside!! May cannot come soon enough!!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!

  • One Tree Hill. I’m obsessed. I love when I can find a good show on Netflix and then binge watch!! I’m going to miss it this week. Yes, I’m lame. I got it!
  • Mac and Cheese. I cannot get enough of it.
  • Making of a Murderer on Netflix! I’ve obviously become a Netflix junkie over break, but it is stressful and confusing and so good!
  • Snowball cookies are my all-time favorite cookies! (Do you see a trend here? Netflix. Food. Netflix. Food)
  • Flowers are confusing. I give huge props to all florists because it is totally over my head! I have a lot to learn in that department.

I hope you all had relaxing and fun holiday breaks, even if what was for a day or two I hope you enjoyed it! There’s going to be a lot of new things coming to the blog this week. A new series for all those new brides to be and another series for photographers looking for free education! Stay tuned!
