Good morning, friends! I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend; I know I did! This weekend was filled with costume hunting, a DC engagement session, Halloween parties, and a relaxing Sunday of editing and blogging and napping (classic Corrin). MJ and I really procrastinated on the whole costume thing this year, so on Saturday (yes, Halloween day) we made our way to Target to try and find something to wear. 2 hours later, we left Target with a frog hat and a necklace, not exactly what I had in mind, but it turned out to be super cheesy and cute! I was a princess and MJ was my frog turned Prince. Get it, I kissed my last frog because we’re engaged! Again, I know, cheesy, but I secretly loved it! Before our Halloween cuteness, we made our way to DC for an engagement session. We met up with Laurie and Matt at the Lincoln Memorial; it was a beautiful evening for an engagement session, and I cannot wait to share their images with you all next week. Side Note: People watching in DC is always fun, and when you add in Halloween, it gets that much better! I saw so many awesome costumes!
Like seriously. How perfect are these costumes? Commitment.

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:
- So, I’m 24 now! I feel completely the same, but now I’m officially past the age where there will be no more songs about my age. At the same time, there is still hope Taylor Swift will write another song featuring her age.
- My birthday was amazing though. Everyone at work brought me different treats because I’m the biggest foodie known to man, and MJ took me to this super fancy restaurant. Again, I was super happy to not only get great food, but to be able to celebrate with him! It was a great day!
- I’m starting to learn the metro more. A big improvement from my first metro experience. (Long story.)
- Today, I am cleaning the entire house because I have been slacking in that department. Having two jobs really doesn’t give you enough time in the day to do things, but today it will be clean and it will be great!
- I also learned that photo sessions are pretty difficult in DC, especially on the weekend. I’m starting to love it though, and am dying to do another session there soon!
I am going to leave you all with some sneak peaks of what’s to come this week! You really don’t want to miss these two engagement sessions!! Both are so different, but SO amazing and awesome! Have a great Monday!! xoxo
