Well, this weekend was pretty amazing. It had a little bit of everything I love! Everything from engagement sessions, good friends, beautiful places, and a whole lot of The Greatest Showman soundtrack! By the way, if you haven’t seen that movie yet, are you really living? SO freakin’ good! I’m going tomorrow to see it again… No shame. (My sister has already seen it 5 times!)

Let’s also all thank Mother Nature for making this weekend amazing! I had two engagement sessions this weekend, and I’m not going to lie, I was nervous. January engagement sessions typically mean scarves, winter jackets, and trying not to freeze, but Mother Nature gifted us with warm weather and so much sun! (Thank goodness!)

On Friday, I traveled down to one of my favorite places, Big Spring Farm, for an engagement session! Beautiful, amazing, and so much fun- my quick overview of that engagement session. And then I went to visit one of my amazing friends, Heather! She’s the best and I’m SO thankful for her friendship. Yummy tacos, good convos, and Friends! On Saturday, I went to a new location called Waterperry Farm and I am now in love and only want to photograph there for the rest of my life… Only kind of joking right now. SO pretty! It couldn’t have been a more perfect engagement session! Saturday night, MJ and I got to see two of our dear friends and hang out with some of our favorite people! AND then on Sunday, I spent the day with the girls. Which was filled with okay wine, good food, and amazing conversations!

If you actually got through that entire paragraph, go you! Seriously, sometimes I wonder if rambling can be an Olympic sport. (Which the Winter Olympics are happening soon! AH.)

As always, lessons learned/events that have transpired over the past week:

  • Spend time with people and less time behind a screen. Build and cultivate friendships- real, authentic relationships beyond social media! This is what 2018 has in store for me and my introvert self is telling me to retreat, but my heart is saying don’t stop! So I challenge you to do the same!
  • Everyone has there own struggles that they are facing. Everyone. So always remember to be there for people! Some people hide struggles better then others, so be kind!
  • Wow. I just got so deep, you guys. Ooops! Well, let me lighten back up… The Greatest Showman soundtrack is the best thing ever! I listened to the entire CD 8 times this weekend. Give me all the Zac Efron!
  • I need to workout- I just don’t want to. (The only reason I really want to workout is so that I can use my new Apple watch haha!)
  • OH. Duh. How could I forget… I’ve been making my own smoothie bowls, and it’s the best thing ever! MAN. Smoothies are amazing and SO healthy!

It’s getting closer to the afternoon, so I’m going to end here! Thank you as always for stopping by and make sure to stop by again this week to see all my favorites from this weekend’s engagement sessions!

Ta ta for now! Happy Monday!

xoxo
