I absolutely love engagement sessions, and being able to get to know my couples before their wedding day! I get to know them as a couple, how they met, how he proposed, how their wedding planning is going, and so much more. It’s my special time with them, so that we can build a relationship before they are officially Mr. and Mrs.! Sometimes, right when I first meet my couples I just know we are going to be the best of friends, and this happened when I met Hank and Crisan!
I met Hank and Crisan at Fort Monroe on a chilly Sunday afternoon, and, you guys, when I say chilly I mean I was in a sweater, jacket, and a scarf. They were troopers, and when I said, ” Hey, let’s go on top of the fort for pictures (where it happened to be more windy and cold),” they didn’t even hesitate. Those images are now some of my all time favorite engagement session photos! Once we left the top of the fort, the golden glow followed us to the beach, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
These two are some of the sweetest people, and when you are around them you just know they share a love that is kind and silly and awesome. Other than supporting opposing football teams, they really are the perfect pair, and I cannot wait to be apart of their wedding day in Harrisonburg, Virginia next spring! Hank and Crisan, thank you so much for asking me to be apart of your special day! I hope you love your blog post!!
