I have known Katherine for over 10 years, which is so crazy to me because so many things have changed from then to now. There are the obvious changes- babies, relationships, jobs (“adulting”), but the one change I cherish the most is my relationship with Katherine.
In high school, we talked every now and then, but even though we didn’t talk much, when we did, we had the best conversations. Conversations that had a huge impact on my life. Katherine and I realized very quickly that we had similar taste in many things: prom dresses, boys (LOL), but also life. And those conversations, those similarities, I believe are what bring us to today.
Now, as Katherine likes to put it, I’m her go-to photographer and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have photographed their first maternity session, their family session when Caroline was only weeks old, and now I am sharing her second maternity session! And, if I say so myself, Katherine is the most stunning momma! Not only is she stunning, but she is the best mom to Caroline and I cannot wait to wait to meet their newest baby in a few short months!
I also cannot forget to mention how amazing Caleb is as well! Katherine is the best, but Caleb is equally as amazing. Their relationship is unlike any other- seriously I photograph a lot of couples… They are something special. Caleb runs his own business (insert praise hands) and is ROCKING it, so this allows Katherine to stay home with Caroline. Both working together to give Caroline the best life, and now also giving this new baby her or his (we won’t know until August) best life.
These two are a team, and their love for one another is truly what sets them apart. They think the world of each other, and I love capturing every moment of their life together! Truly, I’m so thankful to be a part of their lives. My 16 year old self never saw this coming, but my 26 year old self wouldn’t have it any other way.
Katherine and Caleb, thank you for allowing me to photograph this special time of your life! I cannot wait to see you all again in a few months, and I cannot wait to meet the new babe and see my bestie, Caroline again! I hope you love these images as much as I do!
