Over the holidays, Shalom and Tom got engaged! After years of long distance, these two were going to tie the knot, and I was patiently waiting for Shalom’s email to land into my inbox. When it did I was so excited to say YES to photographing their Two Rivers Country Club Wedding! Yes, that seems a little full of myself, but when your number 1 fan and biggest supporter from day 1 gets engaged, you’d be patiently waiting as well!
When people ask me how long I’ve owned my wedding photography business, I typically say since 2016 because that’s when I officially became an LLC. What only a few people know though is that I photographed my very first wedding in 2014 right after I graduated from college. I remember blogging that wedding nervous about who would like it, if anyone would even see it, could this possibly be a real thing for me? Well, I don’t remember a lot of people “liking” that blog post- maybe my dad, but definitely Shalom.
Shalom has been my biggest fan (after my dad haha) since my business began! “Liking” and commenting on almost every blog post since the very beginning, and when you own your own business, this means the absolute world! So when it was her turn to be a CJ Bride, I waited for that special message and knew that I wouldn’t be missing that wedding!
And oh, what a beautiful wedding it was! Two Rivers Country Club was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day and with florals beautifully designed by Aleen Floral Design, I was in photography heaven. What made their wedding day so joyful and wonderful though were the family and friends that surrounded them as Shalom and Tom celebrated their first day of marriage. From the beginning of the day to the end, the smiles were never ending, laughter filled every room, and the love was overflowing!
Their wedding day was a day to remember, and I am now so excited to share just a few of my favorites from their special day!
Tom and Shalom, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your big day! It was beautiful in every way! I am so excited for you all to start this new journey of life as husband and wife! And your start isn’t too shabby… Enjoy every adventure and memory you make in Hawaii!! You two are the best!
