The month of October has sadly come and gone so quickly, but it ended with a bang! I met up with Lori and Matt in DC on Halloween night, and it was such a beautiful evening (with some pretty awesome people watching too). The sun was covered with the perfect amount of clouds, so it gave everything a little bit of glow, and having a couple like Lori and Matt made it even better. It came to a point in our shoot where they were reading my mind and moving into different poses and everything! Dream come true right?

As we were walking around DC together, we talked about everything: how they met, how Matt proposed, their wedding plans, and even some xbox (MJ was with me, so naturally gaming came up… nerds hehe). Matt and Lori met through a church fellowship group, dated for 4 years, and Matt proposed almost a year ago on December 14. Matt knew he was going to propose to Lori, but the question was when. On that December night, after an amazing evening of faith, love, and some Charlie Brown Christmas, he sporadically proposed to Lori, and she, of course, said yes. Now they are planning the wedding of their dreams where they first met in Roanoke, VA.

Their wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful.  Lori, you are going to make the most stunning bride! Thank you both for adventuring DC with me, and enjoy your blog post filled with some of my favorite images from our time together!
