It is Monday, and I am 100% not ready to tackle the day. Please tell me someone else is in the same boat with me? Where in the world did the weekend go?

Mother Nature really tested my patience this weekend between the rain and then random sun and wind, man, I didn’t know what to expect next. Virginia is so bipolar. I could go on and on about how nothing this weekend went as planned… But, you know what, it ended up being such an amazing weekend spent with my bestest friend.

We all have that one person in our lives that just gets you. It might even be safe to say that they know you better than you know yourself, and that’s Kelsey and I’s relationship. Even though I thought my weekend was falling into pieces, she completely turned it around. We went to breakfast, talked all things wedding, and even went bridal shopping! (No dress was purchased.) I’ve discovered that I need to move back to the Tidewater region… 757, I’ll be back permanently sooner or later!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• It’s sad how it’s almost impossible to fully be able to do things without my cell phone. I left my charger at home, and, classic me, my phone died. Always bring your charger. Lesson learned.
• There are so many different types of wedding dresses!! Sparkly, lace, poofy, strapless, etc!! And don’t even get me started on the amount of dress designers there are!
• Kill people with kindness. This is one of my favorite quotes. If you are not having the best day, just remember that little quote and smile! 🙂
• There are so many big projects I am working on for my business, and I cannot wait to share it with my brides and you all!! EEK!!
• I love my brides. This isn’t new at all, but they mean so much to me. I finally get to meet one of my brides this weekend for the first time, and I am SO excited. We’re practically best friends already!
