Snow. The topic of the year. It’s every where. 3 feet of snow. Every where. I can’t even remember the last time I saw this much snow, and I can’t contest for everyone (especially the snow shoveling husbands, inside joke), but I am loving all this snow… For right now. MJ and I have been having so much fun with it. We began shoveling the driveway, and then we decided it would be more fun to build a fort with benches and everything! (Yes, we are still children at heart!) It snowed throughout the night, so we had to shovel again, but we now have a renewed fort and a table!! I’m pretty proud of our snow architecture. We adventured through our neighborhood, and we really have had so much fun and to top it all off Loudoun County Public Schools is off today and tomorrow! Not that we could leave if we had a choice. We are completely trapped by mountains of snow, and today is going to be filled with more snow adventures, Netflix, food, and fingers crossed, portraits!
For now, here are a few iphone pictures from our snow adventures the past two days!
As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!
- For my health, it should snow more often… Best workout ever! Between shoveling and walking through feet of sinking snow, I’m pretty sore!
- Yes, One Tree Hill is still playing at least once a day, and yes, I’ve cried a few times and am friends with each of the characters… Man, I have a problem.
- I have a VERY exciting project coming up! I AM SO EXCITED!
- Wegmans, I know, classic Corrin. Make your own trail mix section has been my new guilty pleasure! Dried pineapple. YUM!
- Gloves are expensive. That’s all.
Sorry, guys, pretty non eventful week, but stay tuned for pretty, snow filled pictures very soon!!
I hope you all that have a lot of snow are enjoying it because it’s not going any where haha! Happy Monday, friends!
