Happy Monday and Happy December, friends!! The Christmas spirit is in full affect right now in our town home, and I am SO impressed with MJ and I. On Saturday, we woke up pretty early, and got our butt’s out of pajamas and went into the real world to start our Christmas Day Adventure! (Yes, this is what I called it all day long.) Our day consisted of Walmart, Michael’s, 5 and Below, TjMax, Home Goods (GAH, so awesome), a Christmas tree farm (huge fail), and a Christmas tree lot (success!!)!! We now have a fully decorated tree, santa/snowman decorations every where (including salt and pepper shakers… MJ’s favorite), ginger bread houses fully built (more difficult than the box explains), and tinsel up the staircase. I now want everyone over because of how awesome our place looks… Christmas Party soon? I think so!

Yesterday, I started a project for my 2016 brides, and I cannot wait to send it to them!! AND speaking of 2016 brides… I have an ANNOUNCEMENT to make…

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!

• I am officially doing Crossfit on Wednesday at 5 AM. I’m kind of dying on the inside just thinking about it. Updates next week!
• If Crossfit doesn’t kill me, Christmas shopping will or it will kill my wallet at least.
• I love giving gifts to others, but I’m kind of a perfectionist in the way that I have to find each person the PERFECT gift, no matter the price tag.
• One word. Home Goods. It was my first time going on Saturday, and it was all I dreamed of and more. I cannot wait to go back! (Insert wallet screaming in the background.)
• At Walmart, I found this awesome collage picture frame. Once I hang it and put pictures in it, I can show you all, but it was only $12!! One of my favorite purchases of the weekend.
• MJ and I have a good amount of pictures together, but we don’t have ANY of them printed or hanging around the house. Not okay, so this is changing ASAP!
• Hypocritical Advice: Always print your photographs. Always. Social media is a great way to share photographs with others, but print your photographs for you. Tangible objects are much more precious than objects in cyber space.
• I am getting so excited about different things I am doing for my business that I keep forgetting that I need to plan my own wedding. I’ll get to that soon, hopefully!

This stunning couple is going to be on the blog tomorrow!! Seriously, this anniversary session has become one of my all time favorite sessions. Side note: In about 2 years, I get to call these two family! And on Thursday, Elizabeth’s sunrise session we did on Thanksgiving break will be on the blog! I have known her for most of my life, so I can’t wait to share some of her portraits with you all!!
