Weekends come and go way too quickly. One of the best things though? Being able to wake up and do what I truly love. It’s refreshing.

This weekend was amazing though. It was filled with my favorite things:  family, the Seafood Festival, and food. I loved every moment of it! I also photographed my beautiful bride’s bridal session at my favorite location, but sadly, I can’t share those images with you quite yet! Next week!

I may have eaten my weight in seafood and my clothes may smell like a bonfire, BUT my heart is full and I’m ready for the week!

I want to give the biggest shout out to my parents real quick! My dad completely surprised me and came up to Norther Virginia to watch me coach! It meant the world. He also cooked MJ and I an awesome breakfast all weekend! AND my mom cleaned the entire house for MJ and I, even after she has stayed at our messy place numerous times! I have the best parents. 🙂

As always, lessons learned/events that have transpired over the past week:

• Bites in Downtown Leesburg is my new favorite place to eat. Hands down. Grilled cheese and sangria on draft… It’s like that place was made for me!
• I have fallen in love with the cheese, Brie, so much so that I’m working throwing a Brie party… Yep. A cheese party.
• Sharing my childhood bedroom with my husband for the first time was definitely weird. He enjoyed the pictures of me growing up a little too much. (Which, reminds me, I need to go on his phone and delete all the photos I know he took of them…)
• Lily is in her terrible two’s right now… Good thing she’s adorable.

AND PSA… My birthday is in SIX days! SIX! Just a friendly reminder. 🙂
