Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I am going to show you a session I did for Heather and her husband JD back in December, for free. (Yes, you read that right, for free.) I was about to launch my business in January, and I realized I didn’t have nearly enough work to show on my website and I really wanted more practice with couples. I was starting on this big business adventure with no fuel, and so I went to my beautiful coworkers and friends to see if they could help me. Luckily, I got two of them to say yes: Andrea, you can see her post here, and now I am showing you Heather’s session.
Heather is one of my dear friends from Radford. Seriously, I made the most amazing friends while working for Radford Univeristy, and she is certainly one of them. She helped me out tremendously while I was working on developing my business, and, you guys, she is so talented!! Heather is the one who made my logo!! I would talk to her for hours during work, sorry James (my old boss hehe), about everything from clothes, my adventures, to my business. When I met up with Heather and her husband JD, this was the first time I had really met her husband and he was awesome. He already had bonus points with me because he willingly decided to take photos for 2 hours in the cold. (Any guy willing to do that is A-Okay in my book!) As soon as I took my first photo, I knew this session was going to be so easy. They were pros in front of the camera! It also helped that JD could make Heather laugh in a moments notice! Their love is so special and amazing. They are each other’s best friends, and you can easily see that in every photo!
Heather… I miss you like crazy. Especially now that I am engaged and all I want to do is walk into your office and talk about wedding planning! I wish you and JD all the happiness in the world. You both have become special people in my life, and I am so thankful for that. Thank you for both willingly being there for me and my small business. You guys have played a huge role into where I am today!! I will see you both so soon!! Enjoy reliving your session through your blog post! xoxo
