Megan is a perfectionist; she is intentional with all that she does, and when she puts her heart into something, she does it whole heartedly. When she emailed me about being her photographer, I was so honored because I’ve known her for years, and I know she knows what she wants and goes with it. And she wanted ME!

Fun fact: Megan has known me since I decided to pursue photography in college, so she has seen some of my very first photographs… Happy to say I have greatly progressed since college haha! With the few art classes we had together, I learned so much about her! She was one of the good ones; she always came into class ready to go with amazing work in her hand. She knew her stuff! I also knew Alec before I even knew Megan. I’m pretty sure he was one of the first people I met at Lynchburg College; he then became my neighbor and friend throughout our four years at LC! As soon as Alec and Megan started dating, all of their friends knew that this was something special, this wasn’t a weekend fling. Lynchburg College did it again, another couple for the books!

Alec and Megan wanted their engagement session to be at the place where they are also going to get married, a new up and coming wedding venue! This place is beautiful, SO beautiful! It was hard choosing which places to take pictures at! Let me tell you though, it was hot. Like 100 degrees hot. Every other shot we had to blot because sweat was literally dripping from their faces. I know, I would not have made it. I even mentioned it to MJ, and he was like, nope, would not have happened! It takes a very special couple to survive a July session, and these two are one of those couples! Looking at these images, you would have never guessed how hot and gross it was outside. They were just so happy to be taking their engagement photos! These two are my kind of people: SO in love and filled with joy!

Alec and Megan, I am so incredibly happy for the both of you! You two are meant for one another, and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for the both of you!
