A Rustic Beauty and The Beast Themed Wedding
When Kim first inquired with me, she described her wedding day like so, “Our wedding is going to be a rustic Beauty and the Beast theme!” And these were the many thoughts that went throughout my head… “Sold. Okay, so, now, she needs to hire me, but how do I play it cool while also trying to describe my love for all things Disney? I’m going to need to practice.”
Yep. Those thoughts happened, and did I end up playing it cool? No, not one bit. I totally geeked out and somehow it worked! Kim and Rob hired these crazy obsessed Disney fan, and after meeting these two in person, it was clear that they were meant to be one of my couples.
When we first started planning their engagement session, we were thinking Stone Tower Winery in February! Well, Mother Nature had other plans. The day of their session was going to be literally freezing with wind, and for the first time, I had to call Kim and tell her we had to cancel. (I’ve had to cancel sessions due to rain, but the freezing cold? This was a first.) I think it’s safe to say we made the right decision because we got blessed with a beautiful, sunny day!
A Claude Moore Park Engagement
The three of us walked around Claude Moore Park talking all about their wedding day, dogs, and their honeymoon to Italy! And for those of you who don’t know, my husband and I are going to Italy this July, so I got so excited to talk to them about it! We became instant friends, and I could have hung out with these two all day.
Kim and Rob are such a joy to be around, and after taking a look at these photos, you’ll get a good idea of what I’m talking about! Not only are they as sweet as can be, but they are also head over heels for each other! I cannot wait until their wedding day! It’s going to be a blast!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together! June cannot get here any sooner!
xoxo
