I am BEAMING right now. A big, fat, goofy grin is plastered on my face because for many, many hours this week, I’ve relived each engagement, anniversary, and portrait sessions of 2017. I’ve looked through thousands of images of some of my favorite people kissing, giggling, playing, and loving on the person that means the most to them in this world. I can’t tell you how excited I am to show you my top portrait picks of 2017, and more so, I can’t tell you how blessed I am by each one of these couples that I’ve had in front of my camera for an engagement session or anniversary session this year.

You all know that I love engagement sessions. Engagement sessions allow me to get to know my couples better. We get comfortable around each other and we become friends. That way, on the wedding day, we’re not awkwardly introducing ourselves and teaching poses. On the biggest day of this couple’s life, they’ve done this before. This isn’t their first rodeo. Their smiles are natural and they feel comfortable with me. I really believe that’s the way it should be!

Narrowing this down was SO hard, and my mind is blown by the joy and love shown through these images! Without further ado, this is 2017’s Top Engagements (and some anniversaries and portraits too!).
