Poquoson is one of those places that you go to for a reason. It’s a destination, not a drive through type of city. While I was driving back this weekend, I realized just how special this little city is… This city is where you meet your forever people- your best friends to the love of your life, and that’s exactly where Moriah and Clark’s story begins. Good ol’ Poquoson!

Moriah is and always will be one of those people you want to “hate”, but you just can’t. She’s smart, kind, funny, and stunning; she is like really pretty (Mean Girl reference). She was also prom queen… Yeah, I know you probably “hate” her too now hehe! And then there is Clark, the perfect match to Moriah. Clark is fun loving, caring, and a Schurz (meaning good looking)- I’m allowed to say that because Clark’s family and my family have been neighbors since they moved to Poquoson! We all go way back… Like back to when I was terribly awkward. (Another story for another time.)

These two met in high school, moved to Texas (not together I might add…), reunited, and fell in love. You can’t really mess with fate. Seriously though, who moves to Texas to then reunite with people from Poquoson. One word: fate.

Clark and Moriah moved back to Poquoson last week, and for their engagement session, they wanted a location with a lot of trees and water… Luckily for us that is Poquoson for ya, and we found the perfect location. The whole session was filled with laughter and love. These two radiant off one another with every word, every touch, every glance. They truly compliment one another, and you can see and feel that in every image. I cannot tell you how honored and excited I am to be a part of their special day. Their day is going to be filled with so much joy and happiness and overabundance of love. It’s going to be amazing! You would never guess where it is… Poquoson!!
