Good morning, friends, and Happy Memorial Day! I, first off, want to start this post by sincerely and truly thanking all the men and women who have died making the United States of America a country where we can think how we want, speak as we want, and simply be free. There aren’t enough thank you’s for your service.
This weekend was the first weekend I have had free in months, and it was amazing andddd it’s still extended into today, so it’s even more amazing!! I spent Saturday in Richmond with my best best friends and bridesmaids. If you read this blog series on the reg, you know how much I adore these friends of mine. Every time I get the chance to hang out with them, I am truly home. We talk about life, our future adventures (Eurpoe 2018!?), and laugh at the most ridiculous things. I cannot wait to see them again in two weeks!! (Dress SHOPPING, wahoo!!)
Yesterday was spent relaxing and more relaxing and continuously watching Disney Channel Orgininal Movies!! (Brink and Motocross to just name two!)
As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!
- Sooo, that HomeGoods trip I did on Monday… Yeah, I think it might be safe to say that HomeGoods is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than Target. I got many new things, including a wire ball that MJ is still confused about.
- MJ did love the new salt and pepper shakers I bought (he has a small obsession with salt and pepper shakers). They are whales!
- The new X- Men movie is awesome!! I really liked it; MJ, the dork, said it was like every other super hero movie, but I liked it. And the pizza… UH. SO GOOD. The Alamo will always hold a special place in my heart.
- Wedding Planning is happening today. Every thing from booking vendors to figuring out budgets to finalizing guest lists!! It will be eventful! I’m still shocked I am getting married!!
- Summer is almost here. Meaning I won’t be pale soon. Thank goodness!!
That pretty much wraps it up for this week’s Mash Up Monday!! This week look forward to seeing the portrait session I did with my friends and a wedding that I second shot with Audrey Rose Photography!!
Have an amazing day, and thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
