Good morning, friends! How is it already Monday? Better question, how is it already February!? In all honesty, this past week has been a blur because we were snowed in for most of it, and we were constantly forgetting what day of the week it was. Definitely one of my favorite weeks by far though! It was filled with Netflix, food, playing in the snow, and just hanging out. I loved it! Now, this snow is just causing traffic problems and ice… It can go away now haha.
This weekend went by so fast though, and that’s probably because I spent most of it in the car, but, man, was it worth it!! I drove down to Norfolk to see my friend Audrey from Audrey Rose Photography (SO nice to see her and talk about all things life and photography), and for the rest of the weekend I spent it with my best friend Kelsey! If you follow me on Instagram, you saw the sneak peek of Kelsey and Stephen’s engagement session yesterday morning… Heart eyes EVERYWHERE. We did the session at Stephen’s family farm, and it was perfect. We had to wake up at the crack of dawn, literally, but it was totally worth it. (A HUGE shoutout to my sister, Kristin, who woke up at 5:45 to do Kelsey’s makeup… She is incredibly talented!) Go HERE if you want to see more sneak peeks!
How perfect was Gabby’s nails and jewelry for our snow session!? Love!
As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week!
- I LOVE Scattegories! Definitely a favorite game of mine, and it was played quite a few times while we were snowed in.
- Did anyone else see that sunset last night!? I was driving home, and, wow, it was stunning!
- There have been so many free webinars lately, and I am loving it! Free is always good in my book! Go sign up for Katelyn James’s webinar, seats are still open!
- One Tree Hill is stilling going strong, if you were wondering…
- I learned this week that I am really proud of myself and my photography. I have grown so much and I still have so much to learn, but I’m in a place where I can proudly say, “Hi, I’m Corrin, and I am a wedding photographer.” I know that might sound silly, but it’s a big step for me!
Stay tuned for either a snow portrait session or an engagement session tomorrow! I haven’t decided about which one I am posting, but either way I am super excited!! Here are a few sneak peeks of both sessions! Have a great Monday!
