Wow, last week was something else! It was my best friend’s birthday last week, so we celebrated all week long! Tuesday to Thursday was dedicated to her, and it was a blast! We did SO many fun things: winery, Top Golf, eating yummy food… The list goes on! This birthday is also, sadly, her last one living near me. Not going to get into that right now because, I mean, no time for tears right now. We made it an awesome week and had so much fun!

And then this weekend was as relaxing as can be! It was the perfect end to MJ’s spring break!

Also, can we talk about this weather? It wasn’t the best during the week, but this weekend finally showed some hope! Down where my parents live has been stunning, but here, not so much. Still hoping warm weather will come sooner rather then later!

As always, lessons learned/events that have transpired over the past week:

• I’m really good at Top Golf. It must be the years of field hockey, but I finally found something that I can beat MJ at!
• When you find “your” people in life, it’s so funny how the rest of the world just seems right because at the end of the day, you have those people.
• MJ hosted his first Game Night at Loudoun Brewing Company! If you’re in Loudoun County, definitely come check it out on Thursdays!
• Easter just isn’t the same when you’re not with family! I definitely miss my Easter Basket haha, but more then that I miss being with family and enjoying each others time. (Wow, am I growing up or what!?)
• Lily is one sassy puppy. Goodness gracious, I think she gets sassier every day! But as MJ always says, “But, she’s so cute.” Something we have learned about our pup though is that she loves to look out the window! She is so entertained by what’s going on outside!
• S’mores cookies are still going strong over here! SO GOOD!
