Their smiles are contagious. The second Kaitlin and Matt got out of their car we exchanged big hugs, and I knew it was going to be an amazing shoot! Their smiles gave it away, and I just love that. It reflects their character so well because they were laughing their entire shoot. There is nothing more exciting for a wedding photographer than hanging out with a couple that is SO in love. Posing becomes such a natural and easy thing! I always tell my clients come ready to just have fun and be themselves, and I don’t think Kaitlin and Matt even had to try. These two are clearly each others best friends and their love is so evident!

When Kaitlin first inquired with me, she knew she wanted fields, tall grass, and mountains! I knew of the PERFECT place. My all time favorite new place to photograph couples… Sky Meadow State Park! It has all the above and then some. Matt and Kaitlin have had images taken all over Virginia, and now they wanted images around their new home with their new dog, Duke! As we walked around Sky Meadow Park, we talked about every big moment in their relationship. The beginning, middle, and where they are now, celebrating their 2 year anniversary!
