When a bride inquires with me for their wedding day, I nonchalantly mention that when my brides book with me they are kinda stuck with me for life. Yes, it’s a tad bit of an exaggeration, but for couples like Sara and Steven, I truly believe it’s the truth. From their engagement session to their wedding day (which was on my birthday) to their maternity session, they just can’t get rid of me. 
Steven and Sara are expecting their baby boy, SJ, this August and I am so excited for them! These two are in for their next big adventure together, and SJ is so lucky to be gaining parents like them in his life. As we walked around Maymont park, we talked the ups and the downs of pregnancy, her new acquired sense of smell, and how fruity cereals are now a huge NO. Not having children myself, I’m so fascinated by what the women go through for 9 months while carrying a human in them!! Luckily for Sara though, her husband Steven is her biggest supporter and helping hand when things get tough or to just laugh with when you need a good laugh!
Steven and Sara, I can’t begin to tell you how honored I was to receive your email about you wanting me to photograph your maternity session. You two bring such joy into my life, and seeing you all in this new stage of life makes me so happy and excited! I can’t wait to see pictures of sweet SJ’s face, and I know I’ll be seeing you all soon! (In home session with SJ? Next maternity session? ) I hope you love these images and treasure them for years to come!
