While driving down to the 757 for my two engagement sessions this past weekend, I was so excited to see these two friends of mine, but I’m going to be honest, I was nervous for these sessions! I am usually nervous to begin with, but even more so because I have known these brides to be most of my life and I wanted to make sure that these sessions were absolutely perfect! As soon as I saw Michelle though, it was like no time had passed and her engagement session was fun more than anything else! Also when you have a Lions Bridge engagement session, it’s hard to have a bad session! Beautiful couple plus beautiful location:  WIN, WIN!

As we were walking around, I began remembering all the different memories I had made with Michelle, and since we have known each other for most of our lives, we have a lot of those… Michelly Welly and Corriny Winny, these are the names we gave each other in the 4th grade, and I will never forget them or her. Michelle was one of my first best friends when I moved to Virginia in the 4th grade, and we all remember our first best friends, they hold such an important place in your heart. The best part of our friendship is that it grew each and every year, and now being the adults that we are (HA), we are both planning our weddings to the men of our dreams and I am Michelle’s wedding photographer!!

Robby and Michelle met while she was attending JMU, and they have been together ever since! I have only heard and seen pictures of Robbie, but when I met him I just knew he was the one for Michelle! He makes her laugh and smile in a second. Robbie, like many other men, did not want to be at the engagement session. Not his thing and I totally respect that! I, though, make it a goal for the guy to say one of two things:  Man, that went by fast, or that the session wasn’t as bad as they thought it would be… And maybe even dare say that they had fun! Which I think I accomplished!

I cannot wait for their May wedding! Michelle and Robbie, thank you for spending the afternoon with me and asking me to be a part of such an amazing time in your lives! I hope you love your blog post!
