As my wedding day slowly approaches, I seem to get more and more emotional while I photograph my bride’s weddings. Whether it be during the first look, interactions with grandparents, or the father daughter dances, I have become more of an emotional nutcase than ever before! For Zach and Shannon’s Glamorous Shifting Sands wedding, I just knew I was going to have to hold back the tears during the entire day because these two are just THAT cute.
Zach and Shannon have the sweetest personalities, and they had every reason to be overwhelmed and frustrated with several things that weren’t going as planned on their wedding day. The main thing being the constant RAIN that changed into wind and then back into rain. Their attitudes and grace on their big day was just amazing, and I’m so thankful that they didn’t let these little hiccups steal their joy! They both focused solely on what the day was about: their marriage. I think weather then took that good juju and brought us some amazing weather…
Their wedding venue, Shifting Sands, was beautiful and that view… amazing!! Right from the balcony, you could see miles and miles of beach! It was gorgeous!!! Now, all we had to do was wait for the rain to stop… Luckily, I had bought a new amazing weather app, and as soon as I saw that it was going to clear up, I took the boys outside for the pictures and then got the girls! AND OH MY GOODNESS… The sun came out! Their wedding day, regardless of weather, was going to be the most incredible day, and with the weather on our side, it just made it that much better.
Zach and Shannon, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your wedding day! It was truly such an honor to have been able to celebrate with you and your families! Have the most incredible time on your honeymoon and enjoy reliving your wedding day!
