No sick days for Mash Up Monday’s.

Well, it’s Monday, and I’m definitely, again, not feeling it. Not going to lie… I’m exhausted. I’m to the point where tired isn’t a thing, it’s more like delirious. I also feel like a truck ran me over and then decided to pull it into reverse and run over me again… Dramatic, most definitely, but that’s the delirious thing talking.

So why am I a little more dramatic and hating on Monday’s more than usual? It’s what us photographers like to call a double header… Two weddings in one weekend. Were these two weddings the most perfect and beautiful weddings? Most defintiely. No doubt about that, but my body is feelin’ it. Luckily I got to tackle this weekend while second shooting with Audrey Rose Photography. You guys, when I say this year is the best year for my business, this is the best year! Audrey is one of the best photographers in the Tidewater region, and I am SO lucky to be learning so much from her this year! 2017 brides get ready a whole lot of new things that are going to be put into place, and I have a feeling you are going to LOVE it!

The past two weeks on the blog have been pretty crazy. I posted every week day! It was a really busy two weeks, but I love blogging. People say that blogging is dead, but I really enjoy it. My posts aren’t always spelled correctly or flow perfectly, but you all get to know me, my business, and my couples more. Which I think is a part of why I do what I do! I will admit though, I am definitely glad that I get a little break this week and I am only blogging three times this week! (I know three is still a lot for some people, but if I don’t post at least twice, I’m pretty sure people will be a little concerned haha!)

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week!

• A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMING TO THE BLOG THIS WEEK!! AHHHH!! I am SO excited to finally be able to announce this. EEK!
• 95 and 64 traffic is the worst. On Saturday, 6 lanes had to merge into one lane… Yeah, it took about an hour and that was the clean up part of the accident…
• I have eaten at Food Craft every weekend this month, and this past weekend I ate there two days in a row. I’m some how becoming a regular at a restaurant that is 3 hours away from where I live… Now that’s commitment.
• Cats are the worst. I hope my friend Jessie is reading this post because this is mainly directed to her and her cat who makes it his life goal to scare the living crap out of me every time I go over to her house.
• ONE WEEK UNTIL MY ENGAGEMENT SESSION!! EEK! I am so nervous and excited!! I hate being in front of the camera, but I’m excited to do this with MJ!
• Still working on finding a casual outfit!
