Langley Air Force Base Wedding

Langley will always seem like my home away from home. My family has been a military family for over half of my life, and when my dad got assigned to move to Virginia. Langley Air Force Base is where I called home until our house in Poquoson was ready to go! When Audrey told me that this where Katie and Sean were going to get married, I already felt connected to them.

Long Distance to Walking Down the Aisle

Both Katie and Sean are in the air force and have spent most of their relationship long distance. Katie even planned her wedding while deployed, how crazy is that! I can barely plan my wedding in the comfort of my own home. These two have actually been married for over a year now, and had a small ceremony when Sean’s mom grew deathly ill. Sean’s strong mother was able overcome her sickness and make it to Sean and Katie’s big wedding day. It was so beautiful being a part of a wedding day that meant so much to everyone. So many tears and laughs were shed throughout the day!
