The options were shooting in Roanoke where Fay and Rob’s love story began OR shooting in Northern Virginia. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Northern Virginia, but I also love having the opportunity to photograph in a new location every now and then! We had the best time exploring their favorite places throughout their beloved city!

When Fay and Rob met me on Friday, we started at one of their favorite spots, Big Lick Brewery! And the best part? We had the whole place to ourselves! After the brewery, we went to Wasena Park, and it was beautiful and SO warm for November. This warm weather has been amazing for our shoots recently, and don’t even get me started on what naturals these two were in front of the camera! I always start my sessions with our four core poses, and this was a breeze for Fay and Rob! They are pros at making each other laugh, and after she mentioned she stalked the blog… I knew this session was going to be a breeze! We had so many beautiful spots to choose from, I could have kept photographing them for hours and hours.

What I loved most about this shoot is the way they look at one another; you just know that they are so excited for this next adventure. They truly bring the best out of each other!  I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with them next year! Enjoy my FAVORITES from our time together!
