A Beautiful Virginia Tech Engagement
When these two booked with me for their 2019 wedding, I was so excited! Firstly because I knew that they were going to be a perfect fit, and secondly, they are getting married at a wedding venue filled with all my favorite things- mountain views, a white tent, flowers every where!! It’s just gorgeous! And for their engagement session, they wanted to same feel while also going to a place that feels like home. Virginia Tech will forever be their home away from home, so it only made sense to have their engagement session there.
Spencer and Hailey met me at Burruss Hall. From there we strolled around to the Duck Pond and then to Heritage Park! It was the perfect evening for an engagement session! The weather was literally perfect, and with a couple like Hailey and Spencer, it couldn’t have been better.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know this past weekend was a doozy. It was filled with a senior session, 3 engagement sessions, and a wedding all in different locations! Fall season is no joke for wedding photographers, but when you have couples like Hailey and Spencer, it’s worth it in every way.
Spencer is thoughtful and kind! Hailey is just gorgeous (you’ll see what I mean in a second) and she’s in school while planning a wedding! (Superwoman!) Together these two have such sweet and fun personalities. How I get to work with such amazing people just baffles me! (They even bought me macaroons as a thank you present! I held back tears because I’m a sap and that meant so much! SO sweet!)
These two have known each other most of their lives. From seeing Twilight on their first date to high school dances to college, Spencer and Hailey have walked through every up and down together and now they are planning their wedding. And I couldn’t be more excited! Their Pharsalia wedding next year is going to be the wedding of a lifetime, and I’m already counting down the days! I cannot wait for you all to see some of my favorites from their engagement sessions! (And by some, I mean way too many haha!)
