I was watching the weather channel from Monday until Saturday, along with the rest of Virginia. With each given day leading up to Saturday, the predictions of rain went from 100% to 30%; I personally think Weather Channel had no clue what was actually going to happen on Saturday because when Lindsay and Trent’s wedding day approached, it said 30% chance of rain while it was pouring rain outside… I’m all for a good thunderstorm, just not when it’s going to impact a wedding day. But, you know what, IT WAS TOTALLY FINE! One of the sweetest couples to date got married and even through the rain and the storms, they had the most incredible wedding day! Their Cypress Point Country Club wedding will be one I will never forget.
Lindsay never emailed me in panic mode; she never showed stress or worry even while the wind blew over the plastic cups and the rain started to get harder and harder as she could see it through the window… she never even showed hesitation about getting her dress dirty. I was shocked and honored at the same time. It’s almost like she knew that if she just trusted me, she would still have beautiful pictures and I cannot express how amazing that feels on a wedding day!! Trent and Lindsay were amazing and their wedding day was an absolute blast. Family, friends and guests celebrated with them for hours and hours despite the weather and it was perfect!
