A Winter Breaux Vineyards Engagement Session
It’s a rare occasion when I know the groom better then I know the bride! The best part about this story is that I never imagined I would be the photographer for MJ and I’s favorite, go-to waiter from El Sol.
When MJ and I were doing long distance, one of our favorite restaurants was El Sol! It was in walking distance, every Tuesday was Ladies Night, and we had found our favorite waiter ever… Miguel. Sadly, Miguel left El Sol to go work somewhere else a few months later (El Sol didn’t last much longer either), and, like most people would think, we never thought we’d see him again. Wrong. After bumping into him countless, random times, we knew that we’d always see him every now and then! And then he got engaged…
MJ and I bumped into Miguel when we were going to dinner at Plaza. Miguel came over we updated him about our lives and then he updated us with his big news… He was engaged! And you know what happened next- MJ did his thing. I didn’t think anything would come of it, but soon enough, I got an email from Miguel’s fiance, Emily, and the rest is history!
Now, onto Miguel and Emily’s Love Story.
Let’s just say, Emily made the first move. She flirted with the cute waiter and he flirted back! They started dating and boom, again, the rest is history! On their anniversary, Miguel took Emily to their favorite restaurant, Bone Fish Grill, and he then asked her to marry him!! Now they are planning the most beautiful winery wedding and I am SO excited to be a part of it!
Their Breaux Vineyards engagement session was definitely on the gloomy side (weather wise), but you would have never guessed that based on how much fun these two were having. You can just tell how much these two love one another! I cannot wait until their Sunset Hills Vineyard wedding in September!
Enjoy some of my favorite images from our time together!
xoxo
