Oh my goodness! To say that I’ve been excited for Cristi and Matt’s Old Town Alexandria engagement session would be an understatement. I have loved them from the very first time I met them and it’s been such a blessing to get to be a part of this season in their lives! I wish I had the words to tell you how perfect these two are together and how excited I am for them to become husband and wife…

One of my absolute favorite parts of my job is getting to know couples throughout the wedding planning process. I love getting to follow along on social media as they plan and it’s especially fun when couples share some of their big exciting moments with me!! It is always my goal to help and encourage the couples I get to work with along the way and these two make it so easy.

The one thing that makes it even sweeter is how inspired I am by the couples I work with! I love how Cristi and Matt make every day of their lives together an adventure. Their joy in getting to live life together really shines through. They are some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet, but are also so silly and down to earth and I love that they don’t take life too seriously. They just go with the flow and try to enjoy every moment, and I think we can all learn from that!

These two remind me why I do what I do, and every time I get the chance to hang out with them, I am reminded of that. I cannot wait to photograph their Old Town Alexandria wedding next year! It’s going to be beautiful beyond words, and I cannot wait to see the moment where Matt sees Cristi for the first time!! SO EXCITED!
