Yeah, my Mash Up Monday game has not been on point, friends! I’m getting back to the grind though and working on new blog posts for you guys because BLOGGING IS NOT DEAD! (Well, not yet, at least!)

Not a lot of creatives talk about how difficult it is to be your own boss! It’s easy to think of the perks, but, man, no one tells you about the hard stuff:  long hours, never ending to do lists, how freakin’ expensive it is! The list goes on and on! In order to be your own boss, you must love what you do and thank goodness I do! And thank goodness I love my couples even more! They make the hard times worth it!

Enough complaining, for now (haha), how was your weekend? This past weekend for me was filled with a wedding (shocker) and finally getting to chores around the house! I am looking to redecorate… AKA make this place less like a man cave and more like a home. The problem? I don’t have an interior design bone in my body.

AND GAME OF THRONES… Holy Moly. If you have not watched it yet and you’re a GoT fan, I would make that a priority on the to-do list!

As always, here are the lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week:

• If you are a creative and haven’t been to Tuesday’s Together yet, hit me up! It’s such an amazing group of people talking about the things they are the most passionate about!
• Acai Bowls are my life. I LOVE THEM! I’m definitely addicted.
• Wegman’s Sample Days are the best! Saturday and Sunday’s at 11 AM. Go, you’ll thank me later!
• And the eclipse? SO awesome! I love that we all got to be a part of something that only comes along every 100 years!
• Lily update:  She must be in her terrible two’s stage because she has some sass to her! She’s still so stinkin’ cute though!
