Good morning (more like afternoon…oops), friends, and Happy Monday to you all!! I have to say getting out of bed today was definitely struggle, and after living the college life this weekend, I could definitely use another day to the weekend. (Alumni probs.) There are so many different things I could write in today’s Mash Up Monday, but I’ll stick with how I miss college and going back was definitely weird and sad and fun and every other feeling.

It has been almost 2 years since I graduated from Lynchburg College. (It feels like it’s been ten.) This weekend was the first time I have been back since I graduated, and as soon as I got there I wanted to leave. It’s like MJ needing a moment of silence every time we drive by JMU. All these memories came rushing back, and every where I turned there was unfamiliar faces… It was weird, but I embraced it, met new friends, new sisters, and I got to even see some familiar faces and hug the life out of them!!

It was definitely a college life weekend, and it was a bitter sweet feeling when I left yesterday morning, but I’m glad to be where I am now and happy that I always have a home at LC!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• I had one goal this weekend: take a selfie with my billboard (yes, I can proudly say that this face is on a billboard). Well, goal not achieved. I still have yet to see my billboard. Let’s just hope they keep it up a little bit longer so I can at least see it.
• MJ and I are having date night tonight, and I cannot wait!! We haven’t been able to spend time with just us lately, and we are going to my favorite place… No, not Wegmans haha, but the Alamo!!
• GAME OF THRONES IS BACK! Not that last night’s episode was exciting or anything, but it’s back and I am pretty excited!
• I am photographing my first wedding of the year this weekend with Audrey Rose Photography! I am ready for pretty details, tear worthy speeches, and finding new ideas at other people’s weddings for my own wedding! (Hehe!)
• I love that new sisters and random people I met knew who I was because of my photography. I cannot even explain how big of a compliment that is, and some of them even knew about Mash Up Monday!! WOOT WOOT!
• Last thing I have known, but also learned this week… I love my sorority and my sisters. Each and every one of them welcomed me with open arms this weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful for them!
