A new week, a new Monday…

This past weekend was the very last free weekend I have until August, and, yes, typing that out definitely stung a little. Between, weddings, engagement sessions, and travel, I am booked up until August and then field hockey tryouts start… I make this sound very depressing and negative, which is not my full intent. I am SO excited for what’s to come in the next few months, but I’m also going to miss the time off as well.

My “off season” has been amazing- no doubt about it. Being able to sleep in on the weekends, spend real quality time with MJ and friends, and just being able to do whatever the heck I want, that has been nice and so needed. And with life, the transition fazes are never easy, just like change is never easy.

Time to snap out of it though and get pumped up because 2018 is going to be my best year yet!

Anyway, back to this weekend and all that we did. We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in DC with some of our good friends, and then went home and relaxed the rest of the night. We’re too old for the whole partying all night crowd! On Sunday, we kept it nice and relaxing.

As always, lessons learned/events that have transpired over the past week:

• Finding photographers in different countries is not easy!
• I am having such a hard time decorating my office. Interior design- not my cup of tea.
• I just learned about an awesome new hair care line, and I’m going to be trying it out over the next couple of months! I will update you with that!
• I have been all about dark chocolate covered fruit! So good and my small treats after meals.
