Glenview Mansion Engagement

Sometimes I find that I get along almost too well with my couples. During engagement sessions, I’ll often find myself chatting with them more than shooting them! And that was definitely the case with Mike and Rachel at their engagement session last week! The three of us have known each other for a couple of years now. After attending the same college, being in many of the same classes, and seeing each other through Greek Life we know each other pretty well, but being able to hang out with them as their wedding photographer was such a fun experience! Also, such a huge honor! At Lynchburg College, Rachel studied photography with me and she was amazing. When she asked me to be a part of her big day, I was so honored and excited!

We met up on a HOT afternoon at Glenview Mansion in Maryland. I had never been to this beautiful venue. We were warned though that we weren’t going to be the only ones there, and they were not joking. There must have been 10 other sessions going on! One of my good friends was even there photographing an engagement session! We made it work though and had the most amazing time!

Rachel and Mike are getting married at Early Mountain Vineyard in little over a month now and it’s going to be stunning! The vendor lineup is incredible… I get to work with my girl crush, Courtney Inghram, and my friend, Josh, who videographed MY wedding! I cannot wait!
