I am so excited to share Samantha and Kurt’s engagement session with you today! They both love being by the water so Fort Monroe was the perfect setting for their engagement photos. The funny part? We live 15 minutes away from one another in Northern Virginia. Their commitment and love for the beach is REAL. The day we shot was a little windy – but still absolutely gorgeous! Fort Monroe Hampton Virginia engagement sessions will always be one of my favorite things.

Samantha and Kurt attended the same high school, but it wasn’t until after they graduated that they realized that there was something there between the two of them. After dating for a few years, Kurt knew Sam was the one for him, but wanted to give Sam her perfect proposal. Which entails, simplicity, not a lot of people, and nothing over the top, and Kurt did just that. I love how he knows her so well. These two are this perfect pair! I am so honored to be the one to capture their love.

Throughout our time together it was so clear that these two just love being around one another. They just naturally snuggle up together and make one another smile. I can’t wait for their wedding at 48 Fields next summer!
