A Claude Moore Park Elopement
My husband did it again. He brought two beautiful people into my life and in front of my camera! This session though was unlike one I have ever done before.
When Tricia first inquired with me, she asked me to photograph her elopement and then their “reception” at a local brewery. After a few days though, plans had changed and they just wanted a small engagement session. So, when I arrived to Claude Moore Park on Friday, I thought we were doing an engagement session… Let’s just say the plans had changed again.
Tricia stepped out of the car, Brian then stepped out of the car, and then I saw there was a third person stepping out of the car… They saw my confused face and mentioned that they were going to elope right here, right now. To say I was surprised and very underdressed would be an understatement. Another car then rolled up with their family, this was really happening!
We then walked around the park and took some “pre-wedding” photos, found the perfect spot for the elopement, and then took some after wedding photos all in the span of an hour! It was perfect and they could not have been more happy!
I could have easily taken pictures of Brian and Tricia all day long. Their smiles never left their faces and the way that they look at one another? You just know that they love one another with every fiber of their being. It’s beautiful!
Tricia and Brian, I am so happy for you both! This next adventure of your life is going to be your best adventure yet! Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your elopement. I could not have been more honored!
